Requests for prescriptions, including those for repeat prescriptions, should be made after 9.00am and can be collected the following day. Please have available the exact of the medication, its strength and amount required.
Repeat Prescription Ordering
Patients who receive items on a repeat prescription MUST order them directly from us and not from their chemist, except in exceptional circumstance.
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year on the Repeat Prescribing Line 028 9260 4341. You can also order your repeat medication using the the link on this page to the secure online form.
Prescriptions will be ready for collection after one clear working day or two clear working days if signed up for chemist collection. If an emergency prescription is requested the prescription should be ready by 5.45pm the same day.
Online Repeat Prescription Ordering System
For security reasons, every patient ordering repeat prescriptions online are asked to sign for and collect their login and password details from the Practice. This is a one-off arrangement and once signed up to the new system, it should be straightforward for you to order your repeat prescriptions online.

We are doing our best to help some patients who are experiencing difficulties accessing Patient UK to order their prescriptions. We would ask for your patience as there are nationwide technical problems outside the control of the Practice.
If you cannot get logged in to Patient Access to order your prescription, please contact their Support Services and ask for your account to be removed. To do this, please take the following steps:
- click on the 'Help' link located at the top right hand side of the Patient Access home page
- then click on 'Contact Support' at the top right hand side of the next page
- provide details about your request.
When you receive confirmation that your account has been deleted, please contact the Practice for new login details.
Repeat Prescription Collection
You can specify ONE chemist to collect your repeat prescriptions from the surgery. Once you sign up to this service you are no longer able to collect your own prescription from the surgery (excluding acute items after discussion with a GP).
If you wish to use this service, please ask Reception for a consent form or complete and return the consent form below to the surgery.
If you change your mind or wish to change the chemist you use at a later date, then you must let us know.
The Practice adheres to Health & Social Care Board prescribing guidance in relation to faxing prescriptions which confirms it is only in exceptional circumstances that faxing a prescription is permissible.
